Residential Prepaid is a special scenario providing this service especially for countries where bank interactions don't work flawlessly. TELES.iPPCC includes support for Calling Card resellers and Phone Shop businesses.

Besides all common switching protocols, TELES.iSWITCH also paves the way to Next Generation Networks (NGN). For VoIP, the protocols H.323 and SIP are available. Features like Silence Suppression, Echo Cancellation and Comfort Noise Generation guarantee excellent quality for IP telephony. Various speech codecs allow effective speech compression through the IP net­work and reduce the necessary bandwidth. Our RTP Multiplexing technology, which can be activated if TELES hardware is implemented on both ends of the IP connection, can further reduce bandwidth consumption. Intelligent traffic management ensures that highly profitable trunks provide optimal capacity utilization.

All TELES.iSWITCH products are based on carrier-grade, commercial off-the-shelf components. TELES.iSWITCH is part of the TELES NGN core product family. High performance media gateway controllers and high density media gateways are offered within this product family.
