TELES.vGATE is a full-featured solution for centralized SIM card storage and management within distributed mobile GSM and 3G/UMTS networks. Besides providing perfect theft protection, a centralized SIM card server offers further advantages. Every SIM card from the card pool can be made available to each mobile channel, thereby assuring that the most attractive tariff option is used throughout your mobile-gateway network at any time.
TELES.vGATE's integrated SIM card management system makes any on-site activity for SIM card maintenance completely obsolete.

The system's versatile SIM card management allows for extensive monitoring and manipulation. The status of every SIM card is indicated and you can activate, deactivate and assign each card to a gateway location. You can also supervise credit limits for prepaid cards and assign SIM cards with favorable tariff schemes.

Blocked cards can be automatically detected and substituted. Fully automatic reloading of prepaid accounts without any operator interaction stands for maximum convenience when it comes to administration of large numbers of prepaid SIM cards. Real-time alarm signaling allows you to immediately react from a remote location to minimize loss of traffic and secure your revenues.

Comprehensive statistics provide information about the system's capacity and the channel utilization (ASR), thereby providing all of the means for efficient traffic management and full cost control. Detailed reports keep you informed about all network events from TELES.iGATE and TELES.vGATE systems. Using scripts for daily operation, you can easily perform recurring tasks such as SIM property changes.

TELES.vGATE consists of one control unit (Windows-based database server) and at least one SIM unit for up to 10 SIM card carriers, each carrier having a capacity of up to 60 SIM cards. The integrated GUI allows for simple drag and drop assignment of SIM cards and mobile-gateway channels. The front-end maintenance application can either run directly on the TELES.vGATE control unit or on any other PC connected to the Internet.

The TELES.vGATE control unit can manage a virtually unlimited number of SIM cards. Actual implementations have been realized with up to 6000 active SIM cards in 10 TELES.vGATE SIM units, each fully equipped with 600 SIM cards.
Our TELES.NMS network management system can optionally be installed on the control unit, thereby in-tegrating TELES.iGATE's maintenance platform with SIM card management on a single server. This option requires neither additional hardware nor additional interfaces for remote operation.

SIM Server Principles
